Biography of Geography

Geography, like all disciplines, consists of individuals. Their contributions to the field—including their research, publications, teaching, and service—are important components in the History and Philosophy of Geography. Below you will find biobibliographic profiles of the lives and work of geographers. Some of them are widely known; some are not. All, however, have contributed in some way to the collective body of knowledge that is geography.
