Daily Summary from the VU Weather Center

For ,

At this time, Eta and NGM are consistent on current track of storm which takes it to our south, with only light showers in our area. However, rain could be heavier at times and depends on surface low track, but southern route still looks favorable. It will be a slow-mover, as a current shortwave ridge located over the mid-Mississippi River valley will only permit us high clouds tonight. Showers will develop tomorrow but will remain scattered due to only average WAA, and weak PVA aloft. Light winds at jet level parallel to quasi-stationary boundary to our south again leads me to believe that only light rain is likely. Showers will end by Wednesday morning, and as the polar high builds in, we will see peeks of the sun in the afternoon.....MASSURA 4/26/99 3:40 PM
