Schubertiade - Fall 2009

Students in Prof. DeMaris' Senior German Seminar gathered with students in Mr. Klapis' voice studio to recreate the early 19th-century "Schubertiade" - friends gathered together to share music, poetry, refreshments, and conviviality. German major Sam Grossnickle played guitar, tambourine, and harmonica (while also singing). Mr. Klapis' voice students sang Lieder by Franz Schubert, the composer whose works inspired the original "Schubertiade."
