Nicki Adams (German major, junior)
Nicki is an "e-mac-addict" and Student Building Manager for the second year in a row at the German House; originally from Crown Point.
Joash Barriere (Math and Music major, sophomore)
Originally from New Orleans, Joash has also lived in Houston and now calls Colorado home; cello is the instrument of choice.
Laura Diemer (German and Secondary Education majors; senior)
Just back from a year in Tübingen, Laura plans a career in teaching German.
Mark Ewert (Computer Science major; junior)
Mark will spend the spring semester in Reutlingen perfecting his German; he is best known for receiving large UPS packages filled with computer equipment.
Emily German (German and Music majors, junior)
Emily will be the first Valpo student to participate in the new exchange with the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik (Rottenburg am Neckar); the spring semester will bring lots of fun, German, and a chance to play a variety of new (and really old) organs.
Sam Grossnickle (German major, senior)
A master at skateboarding and drumming, Sam has his eye on Law School for the future.
Bettina Mack (Resident Assistant; exchange student from Tübingen)
Bettina is a student of Amerikanistik from Stuttgart who seems to have an endless suppy of German chocolates for her friends at Valpo!
Matt Maske (Music major; sophomore)
Matt is a terrific singer and new member of VuVox, Valpo's premier male a cappella group.
Melanie Mosher (History and German majors; junior)
This is Melanie's second year in the German House; the summer was spent at an English-language camp for German children near Berlin.
Mark O'Malley (German and Geography majors, sophomore)
Along with German, Mark also studies Japanese; the big decision for next year is where to study abroad! Germany or Japan?
Nathaniel Ramm (Physics and Math majors, sophomore)
Despite the demands of the Physics and Math majors, Nathaniel faithfully sticks with his German and contributes to life in the German House.
Ryan Taber (Psychology and German majors; senior)
Just back from a year in Tübingen, Ryan is using his psychologist's skills to help him overcome reverse culture shock. Ryan is president of German Club.
