The “Our Valpo, Our Time, 150th Anniversary Initiative” includes plans for enhancements to Gellersen Center, home of VU’s College of Engineering.
senior design projects,
multidisciplinary design projects for all class levels,
regional and national design competitions, and other projects.
All laboratory classes at the College of Engineering are taught by professors—not teaching assistants—and they are used by students beginning in their first year of study.
Well-equipped labs and first-rate facilities help draw the finest faculty and students to Valpo. They also lead to better career placement rates for engineering alumni and more rapid progression in their careers.
Valpo’s College of Engineering produces graduates who exhibit technical proficiency, ethical leadership, and strong skills in communication, analysis and problem solving. They view engineering as a vocation to which they are called to lead and serve for the greater good. The world needs Valpo engineers, and we need to continue to help young people answer the call.
Make a gift to the engineering initiative today.
