Student Experience

“The Valpo experience” – for over 150 years, students have treasured their time at this special place and were profoundly changed by their experiences here.

For every generation and every student, the Valpo experience is truly unique. The idea that “place affects mission” captures the essence of Valparaiso University – to provide a learning community focused on excellence, diversity, and the freedom to explore while fostering a strong sense of purpose and trust.

Last year I had the opportunity to study abroad in Mexico for the Fall semester.  Being able to be completely immersed in another culture provided me with life skills and experiences that I will be able to carry with me and utilize regardless of where the future takes me.  - Erin Moeller – 2012
