- Dorm Life
All SGLI students live together in one residence hall - a special feature of our program.This enables students and staff to develop a close-knit community of living under one roof. Although our students benefit from the greater university community, they also find a distinct "home" on campus, which provides immeasurable social, educational and safety benefits.
Students will live in one of Valpo's residence hall - Guild Hall. Guild is located within walking distance of Target, Jimmy John's, Subway, Uptown Cafe, Domino's, 7-11 convenience store and so much more. Students are also a short walk from the heart of downtown Valparaiso.
Information about Guild Hall
- Single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms equipped with moveable furniture.
- Traditional corridor style residence facility with community bathrooms which are cleaned daily by Housekeeping staff members.
- Each room is equipped with a telephone and wiring for cable television.
- Each room contains wiring for computer connections. There is one port per person.
- Shares amenities with Memorial Hall.

Below you will find a floor plan for the dorm rooms in Guild Hall.
Each student will be supplied bedding (sheets, pillow, blanket) and a towel for the shower.
All other supplies, such as toiletries and laundry soap, are the responsibility of the student.
