This course will provide exposure to the different type of technologies that effect and play a vital role in the world we live in today. Students attending will have the chance to tour Valparaiso University’s College of Engineering and the new addition to the college. They will also get the chance to visit different museum such as the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.

The students will learn about embedded system design, embedded system analysis and reverse engineering, as well as other topics directly related with technology and society. Students will also be able to take apart various consumer electronics products - DVD players, cell phones, MP3 players – to see how they are made and prepare project posters.
