If you’ve ever wondered what celebrations such as Cinco De Mayo and Diwali are all about, have wanted to sample authentic cuisine from different countries, or simply hoped to learn more about the cultures of other nationalities, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to do so at Valpo.

Each year, Valpo students explore international cultures through exciting events and celebrations such as the popular annual World Banquet, International Film Festival, and Celebration of International Culture. Student organizations like the Valparaiso International Student Association (VISA) and Latinos in Valparaiso for Excellence (LIVE) also provide opportunities for socialization and global learning and aim to increase international and multicultural awareness on campus.

With so many opportunities for international involvement and with the student body representing more than 50 countries, you’ll feel as though you’ve traveled around the globe without ever leaving the Valpo campus!
