Chapter Academic Performance

Academic Excellence

Academic excellence is a fundamental tenant for all sorority members. The Valparaiso University sorority community is no exception, and we are very proud that the All-Sorority average is above the All-Female average on campus. The Spring 2023 academic standings were as follows:

  • Alpha Gamma Delta: 3.347 GPA
  • Chi Omega: 3.439 GPA
  • Gamma Phi Beta: 3.442 GPA
  • Kappa Delta: 3.415 GPA
  • Kappa Kappa Gamma: 3.364 GPA
  • Pi Beta Phi: 3.386 GPA
  • Sigma Lambda Gamma: 3.662 GPA

The all-sorority grade point average is a 3.409, and 52% of all sorority women perform above a 3.5 grade point average for the Spring 2023 semester.

Faculty & Staff Reception

Annually, the Fraternity and Sorority Community hosts the Faculty and Staff Reception to honor and publicly recognize members of the faculty and staff.

Recognition’s are given for Excellence in Teaching or Outstanding Contributions to the Fraternity and Sorority Community.

SCHOLAR

NPC MONTH OF THE SCHOLAR

The Valparaiso University Panhellenic Council participates in the Month of the Scholar celebration with the National Panhellenic Conference. NPC Month of the Scholar is celebrated in February with a series of programs, social media campaigns, and outreach.
