The University Guild strives to enhance the student experience at Valpo. One way the Guild does this is through Guild Campus Gift Grants.  All student organizations and campus departments are eligible to apply for grants of $500 to $5,000 to be used for the approved projects and initiatives. Guild members, who have raised the funds for these grants, vote to voice their grant recipient preferences. It’s easy to apply, so don't wait to fill out your application!

Ways to Make Your Application Stand Out:

• Stay within the word limits for the description of your project.
• Send us photos of what you want to change. A picture says a thousand words.
• The more students your project would benefit, the more likely it will be chosen.
• If the project involves alterations on campus, such as furnishings, landscaping or signage, be sure it is pre-approved by the Campus Planning and Space Allocation Committee.

Guild Campus Gift Grant Timeline:

• Mar: 2013 Applications are due on April 1.
  
• May: Grant applicants are notified whether their proposal was eliminated from the pool or will be included on the ballot.
• July: Guild members vote on proposals through a ballot process.
• Aug: Ballots are tallied at the Guild Teller Meeting.
• Sept: Guild Board reviews vote results, considers funding available and allocates funds for grants.
• Sept: Grant applicants are notified following Guild Annual Meeting and fund transfers are requested by Guild office.

Funds Given:
