Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Web Development or Related Field Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Web Development or Related Field
- Five to seven years in primary focus area
- Experience in the following: jQuery, CMS, 2 years + in Wordpress Multi User, PHP, XML, XLST, HTML, CSS, MySQL, Javascript/AJAX, Actionscript, PhotoShop, Flash
- Ability to work independently within an empowered team model, with a propensity to take action and bring solutions
- Online portfolio or list of recent URLS must be submitted with application
Job Summary:
The Associate Director for Creative Services-Web Programming will be an active team participant in the dynamic nature of an empowered creative team as part of the Integrated Marketing and Communications Department.- Primary focus responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Coordination of the functionality of the University's internal and external Web sites with specific responsibilities in page/site programming, such as forms, presentation, and interactivity. Provide production, support and training on University's content management system. Work on key pages of the University's Web site and provides programming support to site managers.
- Produce efficient and effective web programming solutions for IMC team for use on University Web site within CMS
- Proactive commitment to develop/obtain/refine further skills, creative areas or cross-train others on the team
- Monitor trends in Web design, investigate new technologies
