Valparaiso University now invites candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Director of the Lilly Fellows Program.

The Lilly Fellows Program in Humanities and the Arts seeks an Assistant Director. This is an administrative appointment that might include teaching in the Christ College Honors College or Arts and Sciences in accord with qualifications and experience. The Assistant Director will assist the Director in strategic planning and execution of all phases of the Lilly Fellows Program, direct the Lilly Graduate Fellows Program, and share a variety of responsibilities for the Lilly Fellows Program National Network meetings and activities. Ph.D., M.F.A., or equivalent degree required. Applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience teaching undergraduates in a college or university setting, a record of research and publication in the humanities or artistic achievement, administrative experience, and an interest in promoting church-related higher education. Knowledge of the Lilly Fellows Program in Humanities and the Arts is strongly preferred. Salary commensurate with experience; this is a five year appointment with the possibility of renewal.
