Account Management System:Online service that allows users to set and change passwords for access to university systems. Users can also set password recovery options from this system.
Blackboard Learn:Online content management system that an instructor can use for his or her course(s). Training document, videos, and one-on-one help sessions are available for instructors.
Class Mailing List:A special email address that will allow instructors to send email to all in the class from Gmail. Instructors can opt-in for a mailing list in DataVU at the same place Blackboard classes are requested.
CoursEval:Online course evaluation system that allows students to take evaluations online and for instructors to access evaluation reports. Use the instructor's regular username and password.
DataVU:Online data center that includes information for adjunct instructors as faculty members and as university employees.
Discounts on Software:Through a partnership with Kivuto Solutions, the university is able to offer software to students, faculty, and staff at a discounted price.
Email:Instructors are provided with an email account that ends with "@valpo.edu." This account is managed and accessible through Google Apps for Education.
Equipment Loan Service:The library offers a variety of IT equipment for loan to instructors including camcorders, projectors, and other technology tools.
Lynda.com:Online software training program open to staff, faculty, and students. Instructors can view Lynda videos to learn more about technology that will help them in their jobs or they can suggest videos for students to view as a supplement to class instruction.
NetStorage:Online file storage system that allows instructors a place to save documents and access them on or off campus. NetStorage requires you to use your full context (long) username to log in.
OneCard:Official university ID card that can be used for library checkout, door security and much more.
Tech Cart:Instructors teaching in a classroom with a tech cart can obtain training a key for the cart by contacting the IT Help Desk.
Valpo Templates:PowerPoint templates with the Valpo Brand are available online from Integrated Marketing and Communication.
Web Help Desk: Online IT help system that allows instructors to request technology help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The IT Help desk is located in the Christopher Center and offers a variety of ways for instructors to seek help.
