The insurance brochure in the admission packet describes the type of medical insurance that all international students are required to have. Because of the high cost of medical care in the US, you need to have insurance with at least $50,000.00 coverage. If you have this kind of medical coverage from your country or sponsor, then you must show VU proof of that coverage. If not, you will be required to purchase the policy we sent you with the approximate cost of $1332.00 per year.
