IT is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of our new Account Management System (AMS) on Thursday, October 18th during Fall Break. This system will be the new location for changing your ValpoNet password and will be replacing the existing Identity Manager system.
IT will be holding two sessions on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in CLIR 205 to introduce the AMS and let you know what Valpo is doing to help keep you and your data safe. Click here to register.
Identity Manager is being phased out as part of our larger efforts to modernize our campus systems and user accounts experience. The AMS was developed in-house by our talented IT Solutions Engineers and is designed to integrate with Gmail@Valpo, our upcoming Active Directory system, and a number of other systems.
AMS will continue to allow you to manage your password through a webpage, and you will continue to receive email notifications in advance of your password expiration. New features included in this system are:
As the AMS evolves and grows with campus, new features and functions will be added. This service will be the single location you need to manage all aspects of your accounts on campus to allow you to have the best user account experience possible.
