Please Note: We are in the process of upgrading to the latest version of Blackboard. All documentation on this page and the linked pages are referring to CourseVU and not the new Blackboard.
The Instructional Design and Faculty Consulting Center has instructional designers who can help you with any aspect of Blackboard. For individual help please contact Jodie Reminder, Coordinator of Instructional Design and Faculty Consulting.
For quick help the tip sheets listed below provide step-by-step instructions to some common tasks.
Instructors who plan to use Blackboard as a supplement to their on campus course can request training for their students. To arrange for your students to receive general instruction on Blackboard or instruction specific to how you have set up your course, please contact Jodie Reminder, Coordinator of Instructional Design and Faculty Consulting. Instruction can take place in your classroom (if it is equipped with technology) or, if you prefer, a hands-on session in the Christopher Center instruction rooms (261A or 261B).
For a quick guide to Blackboard, instructors can provide their students the Guide to CourseVU for Students brochure.
