Navigating the Content Management System(CMS)

1. Direct your web browser to the following address:  https://cms.valpo.edu Using your ValpoNet username and password, login to the CMS.

2. The blue menu bar gives you the ability to navigate to specifc areas of the CMS. 

These areas will allow you to insert new files into the system, access different tools, view a history of useage, administration areas, help files and a quick link back to the main page: home.  The Cascade Server logo is also a link back to home and can be accessed from any area in the CMS. 

3.  The Base Folder listing will give you an overview of the sites you have access to either view or access. 

You will be able to view folders that you will not have access to edit in addition to your own folders.  This will allow you to see what other departments are working on and how you can learn from the collective whole.
