ENRICHMENT SEMINARS

In order to meet the goal to provide professional and technical development to the Fellows, we have created a series of Enrichment seminars that supplement their internships. These seminars each cover a topic in great detail and are aimed at stimulating thought or
providing insight into that particular topic.

enrichment1More than just training seminars for Fellows, the Enrichment Seminars give Fellows a chance to increase their marketable talents from the tutelage of an expert in that particular field or discipline. While Fellows are required to attend a certain number of sessions per semester to show their commitment to their development in the program, it is in each Fellow’s best interest to attend as many of these sessions as possible.

At the least, Fellows are required to attend at least two of these seminars each semester. A complete schedule of seminars is available below. Occasionally, topics may present themselves over the course of the semester; please check your email frequently to stay abreast of any Enrichment Seminars that may be offered on short notice.   Each semester, one or more of these courses may be designated as mandatory for particular cohorts.

Students should plan their schedules carefully to permit attendance to at least two events, including the potential mandatory course.  Conflicts should be negotiated promptly and in advance with the directors of the program. Failure to attend mandatory seminars or negotiate conflicts is grounds for disciplinary actions.

Below is the most current schedule of the Enrichment seminars offered for the 2008-2009 academic year.
