ENDORSEMENTS

Since the inception of the IT Fellows program we have received accolades from various organizations within the technologies and education industries, and from many outside agencies, as well. However, in the face of these prestigious recognitions, the endorsements that we believe speak the greatest volumes are those from the Fellows, themselves. Read the following to see what Fellows have to say about the program.

Brett Maynard "Asking me to give a short answer telling how the program has impacted me would be like asking me to describe myself in one word. I'm not that simple and neither are the benefits of being a Fellow. If I had to say just one thing, I'd say that it's a great program that benefits both myself and the university in a long term sense."   ~Brett Maynard, Help Desk Fellow

Sameer Kaul

"Working in this environment is very encouraging in general. The things we do transcend your ordinary information technology job experience...Learning is a big thing. Not just learning about technology, but learning about team building, leadership, and professional ethics. The program brings all these different types of learning together perfectly." ~Sameer Kaul, Freshmen Cohort

"It's been a really great experience for me in that I've been able to sharpen my customer service skills, which will help me in my career after college, while getting to troubleshoot on various forms of technology, which is a hobby of mine." ~Aaron Brackett, Help Desk Fellow

Tom Bricker"The program enables personal and professional growth on a number of levels. It isn't about just learning more about computers. There are so many possibilities within the program, and so many different paths to explore that it always remains interesting and fresh. The sheer number of options and amount of autonomy distinguish IT Fellows from other campus offerings." ~Tom Bricker, Graduate Fellow

Sachin Goel

"For me it's been a good experience, but I'd say the biggest compliment would be that it's a familiar experience. I have a unique background in that I've already worked in a similar position in the corporate world. I would have to say, this pretty closely resembles a corporate setting. I have been quite pleasantly surprised about that." ~Sachin Goel, Help Desk Fellow
