  • How to put money on your OneCard
    • Dining Dollars
      • Faculty and Staff members can add money to their Dining Dollars account at the Cashier's Office in Kretzmann Hall or at the Dining Office in the Harre Union.
      • Take cash or a check (made out to Valparaiso University) to the Cashier’s Office.
      • The Dining Office accepts checks only.
      • These funds are available immediately.

    • Crusader Cash
      • Take cash to the automated kiosk, P.H.I.L. The P.H.I.L. machine is located in room 245 of the Harre Union.  This is a 24 hour card swipe access area. P.H.I.L. only accepts cash, but funds deposited through P.H.I.L. are available immediately.
      • Take cash or a check (made out to Valparaiso University) to the Cashier’s Office in Kretzmann Hall.
      • These funds are available immediately.

  • What to bring...
    • First time: You will need to bring your Valpo Certification of Employment Sheet and a valid form of ID (e.g. Driver's License, State ID, Passport)
    • Second time: If you need a replacement ID, all you will need to bring is the replacement fee. The photo stored on our system will act as your ID.
  • Courtesy Cards
    • What is a Courtesy Card?
      • Valparaiso University offers identification cards to its employees and Courtesy Cards to their spouses and dependents. The Courtesy Card provides privileges such as free or reduced ticket prices for selected events, use of University facilities, and other privileges as may be defined.     • Who is qualified?
      • All Regular and Limited Full-time and Regular Part-time employees, as defined by the employee handbook:
        • One card for your spouse, or guest
        • One card for every dependent child under the age of 18
      • Independent contractors identified by the Office of Human Resource Services, such as the Student Health Center,
      • employees of an affiliated organization housed on campus, such as INTERLINK Language Center, Lutheran Deaconess Association and the University Book Center.
        • Spouse, guest, and dependents are excluded
        • Must be employed by the affiliated organization for at least 20 hours per week for 52 weeks per year
      • Retirees and their spouse or guest
      • The President of the University may make an exception to these qualifications.
    • You may pick up your Courtesy Card(s) after your official start date outlined on your Valpo Certification of Employment Sheet.
  • Your OneCard ID will be issued with an ID Card Strap Clip so that if requested, you can wear your OneCard ID and be identifiable by students or others on campus.
