IT offers wireless connectivity for University- and personally-owned laptops and mobile devices on campus for students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors. Access is available for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux computers, as well as mobile devices with any OS (iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Palm).
The wi-fi network is available in all academic and residential buildings on campus, and in some outside areas near the Christopher Center/Chapel and the softball field.
Full network access is reserved for current students, staff, and faculty with an active ValpoNet account. Guest access has limitations and some Valpo systems may be inaccessible.
All devices operating systems should be up-to-date. We recommend anti-virus software with updated anti-virus definitions on all computers.

At the present time, VPN connectivity is not supported on the Valpo wireless network. VPN connectivity is available for off-campus use only.
