Audio-Visual Specifications: Class Room Specifications
General
The programming needs of individual spaces may augment the requirements listed below. It is vital that each room be reviewed with EIS IUS to ensure the facilities have been adequately configured for its use and that the space will be ready for anticipated future use. For all equipment please refer to the VU Approved Parts list for permitted models.
Small Classroom ( < 25 seats )
- Economy Overhead Projector w/ built-in sound (wall/ceiling mounted tv optional alternative depending on space programming)
- VCR
- DVD Player
- Resident Computer
- Guest Computer Input
Medium Classroom ( 25 - 75 seats )
- Overhead Projector (dual project optional dependent on space programming needs)
- VCR
- DVD Player
- Resident Computer
- Document Camera
- Guest Computer Input
- Basic Sound System (stereo)
- Voice Amplification
Auditorium/Tiered Classroom ( > 75 seats )
- Dual Overhead Projector
- VCR
- DVD Player
- Resident Computer
- Guest Computer Input
- Full Sound System (stereo absolute minimum, consider surround sound for video presentation)
- Sympodium Device
