Audio-Visual Specifications: Introduction

Introduction
Audio-Visual (AV) Infrastructure on campus has become an integral part to the operation of the university. Effective teaching and learning is increasingly dependent on the availability of effective AV solutions. It is vital that these solutions easy to use, so they are supportive rather than intrusive to the environment. Furthermore due to the constantly changing needs for effective teaching there is also an imperative for these solutions to be innovative and adaptable. Experience has taught us that the moment a new installation has been put in service, our customers have come up with countless new ideas to make additional use of the resources never envisionned which have required immediate additions to systems. Due to this leaving plenty room for expansion is vital to making any such installation a sound investment into the future of the university.
