Communications Outlet Specifications: Residence Hall Room Space
Residence Hall Room
- Location: one outlet per maximum occupant/pillow; immediately next to the planned desk location (s); minimum 2 outlets per room
- Configuration: 3 UTP, 1 Coax per "pillow"
Residence Hall Hallways/Public Areas
Wireless Access Points should be installed according to specifications (see Wireless Access Point Specifications) to adequately cover Residence Hall space. Particular consideration must be paid to physical security of these installations.
