Communications Outlet Specifications: Office Space
Single Occupant Office Space
- Location: on outlet each on center of right and left wall as viewed from the entrance
- Configuration: 3 UTP
Multiple Occupants Office Space
- Location: one outlet per 10ft of continuous wall
- Configuration: 3 UTP
- Special: Attention must be paid to possible room re-configurations
Cubicle Office Space
- Location: one outlet per planned workstation
- Configuration: 4 UTP
- Special: the solid wall of a general cubicle space should be configured with outlets configured according to Multiple Occupant Office Space; specific configurations must be made depending on the environment and purpose of the space
Wireless Services
Wireless Outlets should be positioned to adequately cover these areas in accordance with their purpose. It is important to take future needs into consideration when making this determination.
