Communications Outlet Specifications: Wireless Networking Equipment Space
Introduction
The installation of wireless Access Points (AP) requires some unique installation environments to be unobstrusive and secure. We recommend the following setup to make the wireless facilities seem as invisible as possible regardless of their prominent location needs.
Details
- Location: 7' above the floor, recessed in the wall, quantity and location must be determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Configuration:
- Duplex Power outlet installed inside the cabinet on the left side (not the back)
- Telecommunications outlet installed inside the cabinet on the right side (not the back)
- 3 UTP & 1 duplex 110V 20A Power Outlet next to each other
