What if I forget my password during the summer?
Use ValpoNet Identity Manager and set up your Password Management information. You can reset your password from anywhere you have an internet connection. Just go to www.valpo.edu/it/valponet and log in with your current ValpoNet ID and password. Then click on the "Password Challenge Response" link, and Identity Manager will lead you through setting up questions to which only you would know the answers.
Later when you forget your password, go to the Identity Manager page and click on the "Forgot Password?" link. Then you can input your username, your ID number, and the answers to the two questions you set up earlier. Identity Manager will allow you to change your password. This way in the fall you won't have to contact the HelpDesk to reset your password. You can do it yourself.
If you've already forgotten your password, contact the Help Desk of your need and FAX a photo ID to 219 464-5056, or send a scan of a photo ID to it.helpdesk@valpo.edu. Then proceed to the Identity Manager and follow the directions above.
