The Valparaiso University Cyclic Equipment Replacement Plan replaces existing computers on a regular schedule. Full-time faculty / staff are replaced every four years. No special request is necessary to effect this replacement. Part-time faculty / staff and general department machines are the responsibility of the department.
For additional equipment including computers that are not replacing old ones, or for special features on replacement equipment, requests are necessary. In addition if you wish to replace equipment in advance of the replacement plan a request is necessary. If you have questions regarding the equipment replacement plan please contact Mark DeMateo , Coordinator of Technical Support Services.
If you require assistance with audio / visual or classroom technology with a conference or guest speaker on campus please contact IT in advance to coordinate your needs with available support. Advance notice of setup is needed to guarantee staff availability to assist, especially for evening or weekend presentations as there are not normally scheduled specialists during those times. If you have any questions regarding classroom technology or assistance that is available through IT for conferences / presentations you may contact Matt Smith, Lab & Classroom Support Specialist.
If you require immediate classroom assistance, need to report malfunctioning equipment, or need to report equipment in need of maintenance please contact the IT Help Desk
