Services

Web Design – Web Services collaborates with campus departments, offices, and organizations to develop and produce high impact Web sites.  Web Services brings a background in higher education marketing to each consultation to help create sites that suit audience, purpose, and outcome.  Each project begins with a learning of the unique characteristics that help to bring life to the Web site.  An attention to usability and presentation help assure visitors will find what they are looking for with ease and illustrate the Valpo experience.

Programming – Web Services offers cutting edge capabilities that are defining the future of Web development.  From interactive forms to Web 2.0 enhancements, Web Services can assist in bringing your vision to reality.

Photography – Web Services can assist with capturing the Valpo experience in photos to display on your Web site.  The power of images shape our perception and provides the opportunity to bring to life the many intangible aspects of Valparaiso University.

Consulting – Web Services understands that sometimes the best place to start is with a conversation.  Providing helpful suggestions and brainstorming through ideas can help turn your Web site into a collection of pages that really speak to the visitor.  Regardless of where you are with your idea, Web Services can help bring your vision to reality.

Content Management

Web Services is currently working to implement the university content management system, Cascade Server.  While Web Services is available to assist with most any Web-related project, special priority is given to those projects that choose to migrate to the content management system (CMS).

Web Services does support legacy users of Dreamweaver and Contribute.  However, projects are evaluated for migration to CMS prior to support being provided.  As existing Web sites are migrated into the CMS, new projects are rotated into the implementation plan.  Please complete a service request by logging a ticket in the Online Service Center and a representative from Web Services will contact you immediately.
