Andrew P. Rodovich became a partner in the law firm of Hand, Muenich, and Rodovich in Hammond, Indiana after graduation. He also served as the Referee in the Hammond City Court while in private practice. In 1979, he became Chief Deputy Prosecutor for Lake County, Indiana. In 1982, he was appointed as the Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. While serving as a federal judge, he was an adjunct professor at the Valparaiso University Law School teaching Trial Practice II. On March 1, 2013 he assumed recall status in the federal court and became the Distinguished Jurist in Residence of the law school.
