It’s that time of year again when candidates are visiting law schools trying to choose where to attend in the fall semester. Some of you may have noticed that we already had quite a few visitors – 16 to be exact – last month. That’s double the amount of visitors we had in January 2011!
Office of Admissions admitted student visit days include sitting in on a first year law class, a tour of Wesemann and Heritage Halls by an Assistant Director of Admissions, a meeting with Career Planning, and lunch with our current student ambassadors. Our third year student assistant, Adam Greathouse, also joins each admitted student for the day giving his insight on life as a law student. You will notice that on very busy days, our guests will be wearing name tags – so please greet the students when you see them. To be more understanding of our admitted students’ limited schedules while trying to visit law schools where they’ve also been admitted, we have expanded our visits days to every Wednesday and Friday when classes are in session. The day is personalized for our visitors; our goal is that they leave with a full understanding of the Valparaiso Law experience.
Please introduce yourself and help us show our admitted students the best Valparaiso Law has to offer!
