ICLEO PROGRAM

The Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity


As an applicant to one of the four Indiana law schools, you may be eligible to become a Fellow in the ICLEO program, which is patterned after the national CLEO program.

The ICLEO program is open to applicants to Indiana law schools who could benefit from a preparatory program prior to law school entry and continued support once they have enrolled. You may qualify if you are a non-traditional student (out of school for 2 or more years); have an overall GPA and/or LSAT score that indicates lack of full preparation for law school; AND, belong to one, or a combination of, the following groups:

  • low income
  • educationally disadvantaged
  • underrepresented racially or ethnically in the legal profession

If you are selected as an ICLEO Fellow, you will receive the following benefits:

  1. participation in a FREE 6-week law school Summer Institute program
  2. a yearly stipend
  3. networking opportunities
  4. Summer Employment program opportunities while in law school
  5. Bar Review Assistance
