Announcement for 3Ls – Change in Administration of Pro Bono Program
There has been a significant change to the administration of the Pro Bono Program. If you have already completed your pro bono service requirement for graduation and have handed in all pro bono forms to Linda Canada in the Registrar’s Office, you need not read any further.
All 3L students who still need to complete all of their pro bono hours and/or have not yet turned in their paperwork, should submit all paperwork to Robyn Rucker, an Associate Director in the Career Planning Center. Robyn will review all pro bono paperwork going forward and will submit required 3L pro bono paperwork to the Registrar’s Office prior to graduation. Students scheduled to graduate in May of 2013, must submit their pro bono paperwork to Robyn no later than April 18, 2013.
A number of pro bono positions for next semester are posted in Strategy and more are being posted on a regular basis. Students are also free to find their own pro bono positions. Any 3L who needs to explore pro bono service options for next semester should contact Vicki Ryan (victoria.ryan@valpo.edu) or Robyn Rucker (robyn.rucker@valpo.edu) in Career Planning.
