CANE WALK and UNVEILING OF CLASS PORTRAIT: Friday, April 19, 2013 at 4:30p.m. An annual event as the graduating class starts the walk at the Law School, where we will unveil the class portrait. They will then walk to the court house, where Professor Nuechterlein will deliver a short speech. Valparaiso Alumni are invited to this event. The press are also invited to this event.

Cane Sales for all 3rd year law students will be conducted March 25-28 during chapel break by the Class of 2013 Steering Committee.
BACCALAUREATE: The University will hold a Baccalaureate service May 19, 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Resurrection. Law students are welcome at attend and tickets are not required. The Law School does not have a separate Baccalaureate service.
CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION: A champagne toast and reception in your honor will be given at Old Town Banquet Center, 711 Calumet Ave., Valparaiso on Friday, May 24, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Please RSVP on this form. For questions contact Lorrie Hodge at 219.465.7829.
COMMENCEMENT: Saturday, May 25, 10 a.m. in the University Chapel. Chapel doors open at 9:30 a.m. No tickets are required and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive promptly as line up takes time and the procession will begin at 9:45 a.m. Line-up will be outside the University Chapel on the south side. The commencement will last about an hour to an hour and a half. If you are not attending the ceremony, please notify the Registrar and request permission to be absent from Joseph Baruffi, Director of Student Relations, room 267 in the Law Library by completing a Request to Graduate In Absentia form. The alphabetical lineup list for the procession will be provided later. No tickets are required for the ceremony. Seats are available on a first-come basis (the Chapel seats 1400 people). If a guest is confined to a wheelchair or needs an interpreter, please contact the office of Integrated Marketing and Communications at IMC@valpo.edu or 219-464-6800, to reserve seating in the Chapel on a side aisle.
RECEPTION: There will be a reception immediately following the Commencement ceremony in the Community Room in the Christopher Center, 1410 Chapel Drive (next to the Chapel of the Resurrection).
