CANE WALK and UNVEILING OF CLASS PORTRAIT:
Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. An annual event as the graduating class starts the walk at the Law School, where we will unveil the class portrait. They will then walk to the court house, where Professor Cichowski will deliver a short speech. Valparaiso Alumni are invited to this event. The press are also invited to this event.
Canes for all 3rd year law students will be provided by the Class of 2017 Steering Committee. Distribution will take place at the Grad Finale.
A champagne toast and reception in your honor will be given at Old Town Banquet Center. For questions contact Lorrie Hodge at 219.465.7841.
10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Resurrection, Sunday, Saturday, May 20, 2017. Doors open at 9:00 a.m., and lineup is at 9:30 a.m. in the Christopher Center Community room. If you are not attending the ceremony, please notify the Office of the Registrar and request permission to be absent from Joseph Baruffi, Wesemann Hall room 281, by completing a Request to Graduate in Absentia form. The alphabetical lineup list for the procession will be provided at the Grad Finale event.
No tickets are required for the ceremony. Seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis (the Chapel seats 1400 people). Special seating for guests with special needs begins at 8:30 a.m. No requests for special seating need to be made in advance.
There will be cake and punch immediately following the Commencement ceremony in the Ballroom in the Harre Union, 1509 Chapel Drive (across the street from the Chapel of the Resurrection).
