Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity – Halleck Chapter

Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International (P.A.D.) is a professional law fraternity advancing integrity, compassion and courage through service to the student, the school, the profession and the community. P.A.D. is the largest legal fraternity in the United States. It was the first to include all races, genders, creeds and national origins. The Supreme Court has even designated a day to P.A.D. in which new attorney’s can take their oath to practice law. P.A.D. allows law students to develop their skills as future litigators through its national mock trial competition and numerous networking events throughout the country.

This year, the Halleck Chapter of P.A.D. will be hosting an Alternative J.D. panel in the fall and a Judge’s Dinner in the spring. These events will be free of charge for all members and will provide students an opportunity to network with local judges and attorneys. In addition, we will be hosting a National Executive for the first time in Valparaiso Law history in September. We are also one of the only organizations that allow current 1L’s to jumpstart their career and join an Executive Board. P.A.D is open to all current law students and is committed to networking and enabling all members to reach their goals as future attorneys.
