Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity (PDP)

Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity (PDP), the nation’s first professional fraternity, was founded in 1869 at The University of Michigan. PDP provides its members with many contacts in the legal profession and offers various benefits such as a loan program, scholarships, insurance program, and several publications.

The Valparaiso chapter of PDP, Norris Inn chartered in 1984, co-sponsors an annual visit by the Supreme Court of Indiana for the hearing of an oral argument.

PDP is among the oldest legal organizations in North America with over 120 active student Inns located at law schools throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In addition PDP has recently established a presence in Poland.
