Degrees: B.A. (History), Franklin and Marshall College, J.D. University of Connecticut Law School, LL.M. Harvard Law School (1996).

Academic/Interest Areas: Commercial Law and Regulation of Industry, Environmental Law, Torts

Recent/Favorite Work:  "A Belief Change Theory of Expressive Law" in the Iowa Law Review, "Rethinking Risk-Based Environmental Regulation" in the Indiana Law Journal and "Nothing But Fear Itself: A Social Psychological Model of Stigma Harm and Its Legal Implications" in the Nebraska Law Review. Co-founder and Chair of the New Law Professors Section of the Association of American Law Schools. Advisor to the Uniform Environmental Covenants Drafting Committee of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.

Prior Life: Before coming to Valparaiso Law School, Professor Geisinger worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and as an Associate at the law firm of Day, Berry and Howard in Hartford, Connecticut.
