Professor Blum has taught legal reasoning, research and writing at Howard University School of Law since 2004. Prior to that, he served as a staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society in New York and represented indigent clients in criminal cases. Prof. Blum was elected to various positions in the Association of Legal Aid Attorneys, including trustee, vice president and health benefits representative.
While a student at Brooklyn Law School, Peter Blum was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law.
