"125 years ago, 100 years ago, 50 years ago, 10 years ago and to this day, every VU School of Law graduate received a hidden "gift" to bridge the gap between the actual cost of attending law school and the stated tuition cost. Gifts from alumni help constitute this hidden "gift" and have in great part funded much of the growth of the law school over the years. Today's Annual Fund donations support VU School of Law's current students by funding a wide range of operational programs from student scholarship to faculty scholarships." Bruce Berner
"The greatest pride of our Law School is our graduates. Your lives and the examples you have set in cities and towns across the country speak the loudest and clearest message of VU School of Law degree.
The percentage of alumni who support their schools, at any level, impacts a school's national ranking. Importantly, financial assistance also allows scholarships to be provided to gifted students so that they choose VU School of Law over other schools. Gifts - large and small - make a difference.
Give to the Annual Fund early in your career. You can make an enormous difference in how your law school is perceived by others and a major contribution to the educational experience of current students." Laura Dooley
"The School of Law must increase alumni contributions if we are to meet the needs of the School, and if we are to have the budgetary flexibility to support special programs.
Gifts to the Annual Fund provide us with the flexibility we need to take full advantage of current opportunities. Your annual gift goes to work immediately, addressing the Law School's most critical and urgent needs. The Annual Fund makes it possible for the law school to offer financial assistance to eligible students, to update resources and technologies for the Law School library, and to provide for research and educational needs of the faculty."
