Scholar to discuss law and internet search

A leading scholar in the emerging field of how Internet search engines are affected by copyright and trademark law will speak at Valparaiso University’s School of Law on March 29.

Tyler Ochoa, professor of law at Santa Clara University School of Law, will present the lecture at 10:50 a.m. in Wesemann Hall, 656 Greenwich St. His talk is free and open to the public.

Ochoa co-authored the sixth edition of “Copyright Law” and has written numerous articles for legal journals in the areas of intellectual property law, copyright law, rights of publicity and statutes of limitation. He also is a two-time winner on Jeopardy! and once on Win Ben Stein’s Money.

The lecture is sponsored by VU's Intellectual Property Law Association.
