Ascension to Excellence is an event aimed at illuminating the ”Law as a Calling” aspect of our education. As a result, we’ve assembled a panel of distinguished practitioners to share their stories about how they got into their respective practices, what they did while in law school to prepare them for their practices, and provide advice to students on how to make inroads into the sports and entertainment law practices.
Our panel includes: Entertainment attorney, law professor, gospel recording artist/songwriter/producer Loren Mulraine; Steven Hunter, trial lawyer and partner at Quarles and Brady, LLC. in Chicago.
Ascension to Excellence Pt. 1 will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., in the Benson Classroom on February 6. It is a precursor to the second installment of the Ascension to Excellence series that features the Tuskegee Airmen the following week on Friday, February 15.
You can learn more about the details of this event and any of the upcoming BESLA events by frequenting our organization’s bulletin board, following us on Twitter @BESLAVU, or by contacting me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
