The Black Law Students Asdsociation is a national organization and the VUSL chapter of BLSA was established in the early 1970's.
BLSA serves the purpose of articulating and promoting the professional needs of African American law students. Additionally, BLSA addresses issues that are faced by African Americans both professionally and within the community.
BLSA presents guest speakers and hosts social events throughout the year, and members actively assist in the recruitment of minority applicants.
