The Jewish Law Student Association ("JLSA") is a student organization affiliated with Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish campus life. The JLSA's mission is to foster a Jewish identity in legal professionals and students and to promote their active involvement in the Valparaiso and national Jewish communities. All Valparaiso University School of Law students are welcome to be members of the JLSA. Our Law School President, who is not Jewish, currently enjoys many JLSA activities. Some of our activities include:

1) Shabbat Dinners

2) High Holy Day services

3) Break-the-Fast Yom Kippur

4) Educational Speakers

5) Bagel Sale (fun & delicious)

6) Attending the Annual Jewish Law Student Conference

The faculty, administration, and student body at Valparaiso have been very supportive of the JLSA. The local temples and Jewish community have welcomed us. Additionally, many people have served as gracious hosts for Shabbat Dinners throughout the year.
