Sophos is the current supported Antivirus software that protects University owned computers.  It is  free and available for download for student computers, faculty/staff computers as long as you are affiliated with Valparaiso University.  After downloading Sophos and installing it, the program will automatically run in the background.  To download this software go to: www.valpo.edu/it and select downloads.  Use your LDAP password when prompted.  It is strongly advised that you uninstall any old anti virus software you may have on your computer before you download Sophos.  Need help?  Please see Donna Patterson for assistance.
