I am currently interning at Offender Aid and Restoration (OAR). This organization directly works with courts of Arlington to help offenders perform and complete community service hours, locate job opportunities, and establish an educational foundation. More specifically, I work with the Community Service department. I meet with offenders who have been given community service instead of jail or prison sentences. I work with both misdemeanor and felony charges and I am ultimately responsible for a report on each offender regarding whether or not he or she complied with the judge’s expectations.
