Towel and Basin Club
Towel and Basin: Gifts of $100 or more are recognized with membership in the Towel and Basin Club.

Towel and Basin membership is available in four gift categories:

Diaconal Benefactor: $1,000 and up
Diaconal Sponsor: $500 - $999
Diaconal Associate: $250 - $499
Diaconal Friend: $100 - $249

Matching gifts are a crucial part of the LDA’s budget. We want to help you maximize your match with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans GivingPlus program. Remember to check with your human resources department to see if your employer provides a matching gift program.

If you own a Thrivent Financial product, Thrivent Financial will contribute 50 cents for every dollar of your gift to the LDA ranging between $50 to $600. Plus, members who volunteer at least 25 hours annually to the LDA earn another $25 match. It is important to remember that Thrivent Financial will only match two different organizations annually. Giving to the Lutheran Deaconess Association through the Simply Giving Program provides sustainable support of the LDA’s long-term commitment to serving the diaconal needs of the church body. Consistent monthly gifts help cut postage, paper, administrative and overhead costs.
