Professor Weare joined the Valparaiso University faculty in the summer of 2006.

Prior to coming to VU, Prof. Weare was Collection Development Librarian at Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he was responsible for collection development and serials management, and participated in both the research assistance and instruction programs. He has also worked in the libraries at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has taught at the University of Iowa and at Central College.

Prof. Weare gives presentations and workshops on web search strategies to both K-12 and college librarians and educators.
