¿Que
paso ustedes/vosotros? Me llamo Jeremías and I just graduated
from Portage
High School. I was born in Chattanooga, TN but my Dad is in
the Army so I have moved a lot. I have lived in Arizona, Ohio, Tennessee,
and Indiana not to mention the 10 schools I have attended so far.
Speaking of school in the fall I will be attending Indiana University-Northwest
to study Spanish. I do not know what I want to do with my Spanish
right now but maybe after I study abroad I can make a decision.
Something else you may not know is that I am a Boy Scout……
Allow me to correct myself….. An Eagle Scout. The rank of
Eagle Scout is by far my (and my parents) greatest accomplishment
to date. My scouting career has spanned three states and about 8
cities. Never once did I consider quitting either. Since the age
of 11 I have been taking violin lessons. Violin has taught me that
without hard work, patience, and practice your end result will be
failure (and a waste of your parents money as well). I failed to
mention that after my first year at IUN I plan on transferring to
another school. The reason being is that I (and my parents) want
to see me go off to school rather than commute to school.
So this summer I participated in the IMLS summer library internship
at Valparaiso University. The program is to introduce high school
graduates on how the library system works. Believe it or not there
is more to a library than just books and librarians telling you
to shhhhhhhhh! The knowledge I have attained from this program will
definitely help me not only during my college years but also later
in life. I could talk all day about the program but I will just
let you enjoy the rest of my web page.
