This site contains articles, commentaries, and links to sites. The articles describe practical experiences, alternative perspectives, and visions of the future collected from around the world.The site editor, Rick Ellis, notes he is interested in descriptions of the use of instructional technology in real life situations, including objectively gathered data and thoughtful discussion of implications; vision articles attempting to discern future directions of IT, and distance education, and perspective articles that clearly articulate alternative viewpoints. Ellis also notes the site grew out of resources he used for classes on the use of web technologies he was teaching to faculty.
